Saliba found ancient fossils, including two Miocene Epoch Megalodon teeth (5-20 millions-year-old), being destroyed by the Triq Marsalforn road-widening project! She immediately reported the remains, trying to figure out how to stop the destruction, but instead of working with her, the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage accused her of breaking the law!
